E.S.I launches next generation smart skin care system
4 Jan 2022 --- Medical aesthetics company E.S.I Novel - part of the technology company, Essence Group – has released JÓLI360 Plus, the next iteration of its original facial rejuvenation platform. The upgraded version enables dermatologists and professional cosmeticians to offer acne and anti-aging treatments using an all-in-one Internet of Things (IoT)-based system.
“It was the digitalization of all main industries that initially inspired us to enter the market,” shares General Manager Barak Katz. Speaking about the firm’s new product, he details: “It is intended to replace the current cumbersome and expensive solutions with a single, wireless, connected platform that significantly improves the user experience and clinics’ and cosmeticians’ business models, while also providing exceptional results for the end consumers. The fact that everything is connected means that we can also improve the relationship with the end consumer by providing real feedback on treatment progress.”
The skin rejuvenation treatment aims to deliver a combination of advanced acne and anti-aging treatments within a compact, fully integrated desktop device. The system comprises a docking station with a built-in touch screen, two handheld treatment applicators (one for acne and one for skin rejuvenation) with patented serum capsules and a handheld skin analyzer. Hailed as revolutionary, the analyzer conducts skin analysis to measure hydration, elasticity and sebum rates.
The treatment applicators are based on technology for both short- and long-term benefits. The IoT-based platform comes with three rechargeable wireless handsets. The anti-aging applicator delivers Low Level Laser Therapy, Radio Frequency therapy with collagen gel serum, and Electroporation therapy with hyaluronic acid serum. The acne applicator provides Low-Level Laser therapy to tackle bacteria and Electroporation that has an effective, clinically-tested anti-acne serum.
“For best results, our recommended treatment protocol is four to six weeks for the acne solution (applied twice a week), and six to eight weeks for the anti-aging solution (applied once a week),” says Katz. Each treatment, on average, lasts approximately 30 minutes.
Personalizing through data
E.S.l Novel’s system gathers and records data that can then be used to provide improved and more targeted treatments. “We hope that this technology will assist in bringing more personalized and effective treatments that can significantly improve the outcomes for end customers,” Katz says. “Furthermore, we anticipate that the data gathered by the system will be used for future improvements of treatments, making them increasingly more suitable for specific use cases.”
Providing skin care consumers with a comprehensive range of treatments in one solution that saves on costs is one of E.S.l Novel’s key offerings. “Our platform enables dermatologists and cosmeticians to offer a full range of treatments using an all-in-one system, which is much more cost-effective than alternative solutions and takes up less physical space in the clinic,” shares Katz. “They can also enjoy the benefits of IoT and are always in touch with clients’ individual needs to provide the highest levels of personalized professional care.”
Users can receive feedback on their treatment progress and access professional medical advice. “End-users receive a next generation treatment that works on multi-technology, without side effects, and which focuses on both short-term and long-term results,” Katz adds.
Commenting on how technology and innovation progress skin care, Katz reveals: “This type of innovation definitely takes skin care to the next level by leveraging the capabilities of IoT for skin rejuvenation.”
"We are revolutionizing the medical aesthetics market with a unique combination of innovative technologies and serums that enable faster results together with significantly higher efficiency," highlights Katz. "JÓLI360 Plus represents our commitment to introducing disruptive medical aesthetics innovations that help people to live their best possible lives."
